13 medals at the Breeze International Swimming Tournament
Four students from American College Arcus won 13 medals at the Breeze International Swimming Tournament, which took place in Burgas from 6th to 8th October, 2017. There were 408 participants from 6 countries. Our students participated in the “A” age group. Ilina Yozova, 12 b, won 4 gold medals in the 50, 100 and 200 meters breaststroke and the 50 meters butterfly. Boyana Tomova, 12 b, is the winner of the 50 backstroke competition and Ivasn Dobrev, 12 b, came second in the 200 m. backstroke. Apart from this, Ivan Dobrev won a bronze medal in the 4x50 meters relay together with S. Stoyanov, K. Iliev and N. Petrovsky. Ilina Yozova and Boyana Tomova together with G. Darakchieva and S. Doycheva came second in the 4x50 meters women’s relay and in the mixed freestyle relay with Ivan Dobrev and S. Stoyanov. Ilina Yozova, Boyana Tomova and Ivan Dobrev are members of the Etar 2000 swimming club in Veliko Tarnovo. We wish them a lot of success in the next competitions!
