School Uniform
Students at American College Arcus are proud to wear the school uniform. The College’s uniform is an every-day outfit suitable for curricular and co-curricular activities. It assists students’ in making a proper choice of clothing for school as well as upholds the value we place on academic life, i.e. students are encouraged to seek being distinct on the basis of their acquired knowledge rather than on their appearance.
2024 – 2025 Academic Year
Dress code approved by the school:
1. Girls:
- pure black shoes or trainers with dark soles;
- pure black jeans with a length that reaches the shoes or trainers;
- pure black or dark-blue skirt, not shorter than 10 cm. above the knee;
- skin-coloured tights, no patterns or decorations allowed;
- plain white shirt, neatly tucked into the skirt/jeans (for official occasions);
- plain T-shirt or blouse in the appropriate colour for the educational stage* branded with the college logo, neatly tucked into the skirt/jeans;
- black or dark blue sweater, no logos or printing allowed;
- tie with the college logo**
NB! It is expressly forbidden to wear leggings, tracksuit bottoms and tops and other sports items outside of PE and Sports classes!
NB! To wear components, other than those listed above as part of the school uniform, is expressly prohibited! Rule-breakers will be removed from school immediately upon discovery of the breach and will be assigned unauthorised absences until they make themselves look presentable and in line with the school uniform requirements set by the institution. Rule-breakers’ parents will be contacted and informed about their unauthorised absences from school!
NB! No outdoor clothing is allowed at regular lessons!

*For the top, which replaces the shirt in the daily wear of the unified student clothing, there are four options from which students can choose: a collared shirt, a collarless shirt, a long-sleeved collared shirt, and a collarless long-sleeved blouse. Each variety bears the college logo. The shirt color is light lime green (for students in middle school) sky blue (for students in secondary school) /see photos below/. At the beginning of each school year the college assists in organizing a massive joint order with the manufacturer company and every student is responsible for acquiring the required number and size of shirts and/or blouses. **Important notice! Each year, the school provides a tie with the college logo as well as a badge with a neck strap.
