2018 Tournament for the Director's Cup

On June 25 2018 the Third Tournament for the Director’s Cup took place in the auditorium of American College Arcus to celebrate Saint John’s Day – the patronal celebration of the school. The competition had four rounds, in which all classes took part. In the first two the students answered questions demonstrating an extensive knowledge in all subject areas. The third round had practical tasks in the areas of sports, arts and sciences - shooting a basketball, doing art puzzles, experiments in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, linguistic and mathematical challenges and airgun shooting. The students visited the classroms, laboratories and sports zones in order to complete the tasks and show their abilities. During the fourth and most emotional round all classes sang a song making it very difficult for the panel to evaluate their musical and artistic abilitites. Although there was only one winner - the students from 9 B - all participants proved that they can combine their knowledge and creativity. In the end the winners received a cake and the Director's Cup and there was icecream for all participants in the tournament.
