A live lesson in the courtroom

For a second year in a row, students from grade 10 visited the Administrative court headquarters in Veliko Tarnovo in the context of
the educational programme 'The legal system -- an informed choice and civil trust. Open courtrooms and prosecutors' offices'. Together with their teacher Mrs Ivanichka Slavcheva, students were present at a real court case hearing of the lower and higher court; later, they had the chance to discuss this experience with the programme lecturers - Judge Kostova, Judge Yaneva and Judge Bujukliev. The chair of the Administrative court, Judge Chemshirov, talked about the functions and structure of administrative jurisdiction and gave students copies of the Bulgarian constitution and special certificates for participation in the programme.
