A look at the sun through the eyes of science

In one of their astronomy classes, 12B students guided by their physics teacher, Mrs Agripina Georgieva, watched the sun through a telescope in the form of a screen projection. This was just the first step towards authentic experience of the nature of our star. Practical lessons like this give students a good idea of how scientific knowledge can be applied in real life; they could also put themselves in the shoes of real explorers and kindle a love for knowledge and science within them.
