A talk on AIDS

1 December – the World AIDS Day – was marked with a talk, held in the hall of American college Arcus. The guest-lecturer MD A. Anastasova, Manager at the Anonymous AIDS Testing and Consultancy Office at the Regional Health Inspectorate, explained the contemporary laboratory methods of diagnosing and studying of the HIV virus. Doctor Anastasova kindly answered the current interesting questions, which were of interest to the students. Teodora Tomova, a student in grade 9, also took part in the meeting, presenting important facts in relation to the dangerous illness.
