Another literary gathering at Arcus, with Zahari Karabashliev

Springtime is felt not only in nature, but also in our school. With the greening and flowering of trees, shrubs and flowers, it seems we have followed suit. New ideas, new projects, new meetings with different guests and for different occasions are blooming!

One of the best contemporary Bulgarian novelists and playwrights, Zahari Karabashliev, together with Prof. Plamen Pavlov, recently visited our campus to discuss the author's new historical novel, "Wound”.  But before the literary discussion began, the author was presented with a surprise: a short feature film "Thirst", based on the story of the same name written by our guest, followed by a musical performance.

After the film and musical performance, Karabashliev shared personal moments that had become a source of inspiration for his work, and then took part in casual conversation with our presenters and later, with the audience.

We would like to praise our small team of amateurs, already working at the professional level of film production, who demonstrated outstanding organization, dedication and the ability to manage the labor-intensive demands that the project required: we all admire and respect their work.  Our guests were similarly deeply impressed and touched by the surprise.

As usual, the gathering ended with autographs and a promise to meet again soon.
