On April 4 and 5, the National Round of the Bulgarian Language and Literature Olympiad was held, bringing together the highest-achieving students from across the country. Once again, the students of American College Arcus Ltd., distinguished themselves through their excellent preparation, knowledge, and talent, earning well-deserved recognition.
Our silver medallist, Mihael Mihov (10th grade) achieved an outstanding second place nationally with an impressive score of 66 points. This accomplishment is a testament to his analytical thinking, profound literary knowledge, and exceptional command of the Bulgarian language.
Equally noteworthy is the performance of Kristina Nikolova (11th grade), who, in an intensely competitive field, secured a commendable 13th place nationally. She was the sole representative of the Veliko Tarnovo District in her age category to reach the National Round, an accomplishment that further underscores the significance of her success.
Ema Pavlova (11th grade) also delivered a commendable performance, ranking second in the Veliko Tarnovo District.
It is important to recognize that behind every outstanding student achievement stand the dedication, guidance, and unwavering support of inspiring teachers. We extend our sincere congratulations to the mentors of the distinguished students, Velika Mitskova and Angelina Velikova.
We warmly congratulate Mihael, Kristina, and Emma on their perseverance and achievements, and we wish them continued success and inspiration in their future endeavours.
