Enyovden
"There is no greater teacher than nature"-this was the motto that highlighted this year's celebration of American College Arcus patron day Enyovden. Students and teachers collaborated to realize an interdisciplinary project inspired by various forms, lights and colours, and related to the creations of Antonio Gaudi. The celebration started in the school hall with an exciting virtual tour around Barcelona, accompanied by piano, guitar and flamenco performances. There was an exhibition of 30 mathematical projects and in the Maths room there was a demonstration of how forms of nature turn into architecture. "Physics and spaghetti", " Charm and science", "Anatomy and architecture""- attractive topics that drew students' attention towards the demonstrations in the physics, chemistry and biology rooms. The celebration involved initiatives combining science and art- the world of mosaics created by Gaudi was presented in the arts room, and in the literature room there was an in-depth discussion about the symbolism of colours and the thin line between the genius and the madness. The guests had the chance to witness the challenging multilingual contest in which students rivaled teachers. The final initiative involved cooking- Spanish special meals were prepared the school courtyard.
