Enyovden tournament for the Director’s

Enyovden tournament for the Director’s bowl – a slightly forgotten school tradition was restored on 24 June.  

Students devoted a lot of time and energy on the event’s preparation. Georgi Penchev and Ivan Tsvetkov of 11 B hosted it while the latter worked out the presentation with the quiz questions for the three rounds together with Daniel Borisov of 9 A. The school’s celebration opened with an original video about the magic of Enyovden (student participants: Borislav Angelov and Ivon Garcheva of 9 A, Aleksandar Panev of 10 A, Alis Georgieva and Yordan Rusanov of 11 A, Georgi Penchev, Ivan Tsvetkov, Katya Hristova and Preslava Dimkova of 11 B, Dimana Bozhkova of 11 C), made by Daniel Borisov of 9 A. Daniel was the mastermind behind Arcus TV commercials played between the second and third round. To enhance the magical effect of Enyovden on the audience, Georgi Penchev recited the sonnet St. John the Baptist. In order to create anticipation for the last round, which was a talent show, Magdalena Hristova (8 A), Gayane Pogosyan (9 A) and Ralitsa Stoicheva (11 C) performed an exquisite dance against the to the accompaniment of “Katerino mome” sung by Julianna Murr (11 C). After all the classes had performed their gigs, there came a video record of all the academic, creative and sports achievements of students throughout the school year. Then, teachers surprisingly came on stage and performed the song Think green. 
Time came for the winners to be announced: 9 A came third, 10B – second and the winner was 8 A class who received the Bowl from Vilian Popov of class 2020, representing the last class winner of the prize.
