European schools for a living planet IV

The final meeting of the European schools for a living planet IV project was held in Moieciu de Sus, Romania, from May 30th till June 3rd. The American College Arcus was represented by Iliyan Yordanov, Math teacher, and Taniyana Georgieva from 11 b class. The Model United Nations Club has been working on the project for 7 months together with 33 schools from 9 Danube countries. The teams chose subjects such as Ecological Footprint, Active Citizens and The River Danube. Our team chose the Ecological Footprint. Each team had to present their activities for 4 minutes.

Taniyana won the hearts of all participants and our team was awarded 1st prize and a one-week ecological camp in a Romanian eco park in September.
