International Mountain Day
On the 11th of December, students from the International Baccalaureate 11th grade, Leda Kuneva and Silvia Pulova, undertook an initiative in relation to the United Nations’ project of mountain preservation. International Mountain Day strives to achieve a stronger engagement of institutions and the civil society in sustainable mountain development. With the irreplaceable help of students from 9th A and 9th B class, posters on various global issues, interactive presentations and informative flyers were made. The latter were distributed around the school in the hope of raising awareness on topics such as climate change, renewable energy and a greener and more eco-friendly society.
