Ivan Tsvetkov from grade 9 B - one of the winners at the Beaver Computational Thinking Competition
On November 10, 2019 took place the Beaver Computational Thinking Competition. This is an international competition members of which are 50 countries and 12 more are observers.
The competition is held among individual students from one country. Bulgaria has been a member and has had competitions since 2012. Bulgarian students take part in the competition in two age-groups - Grades 5-7 and Grades 8-9.
For the second year in a row the students from grade 9 B Group One in Computer science and IT participate in this Competition. Ivan Tsvetkov did excellent demonstrating a high level of knowledge and skills in Informatics winning the second place among 227 students in the age-group Grades 8-9.
The other participants from the school were Ivelina Ruseva and Rosen Lazarov who did very well too and took leading positions as well. Their Computer Science and IT teacher Diana Lazarova wishes them tenacity and ambition to see more remarkable triumphs.
