Maria Mitsova wins an international badminton tournament in the Czech Republic

Maria Mitsova, 11 a, came first in the under 19 Yonex Czech Junior International Orlová, Czech Republic. The competition took place from 14 to 17 November, 2013. 117 badminton players from 9 countries took part in the tournament; Bulgaria was represented by Maria Mitsova and Vladimir Shishkov from Stara Zagora.

Maria stands an excellent chance of qualifying for the Youth Olympics in 2014.
