Opening ceremony for the new academic year 2019/2020
The auditorium at American College Arcus Ltd. opened its doors for the beginning of its 17th school year and gathered students, teachers, parents and guests on the first day at school.
The attendees were welcomed and greeted by Peter Ivanov - Director of the College, Penka Ignatova – Director of Education, Youth and Sports Directorate, Engr. Rozalia Licheva – Director of Regional Department of Education, Docho Karaivanov – Chairman of the Board of Trustees at American College Arcus.
The students who passed their Cambridge exams received their Certificates of achievement.
All college students were addressed by Mikaela Hristova, a student from grade 12 A who won a prestigious place in the Creative Writing Competition last year.
At the end of the opening ceremony the students from grade 8 took an oath and pledged themselves to the College's principles: Knowledge, Freedom, Perfection.
