Our college students scaled new heights

On November 25, 2023, students from PSHS American College Arcus Ltd participated for the first time in ‘BEST – Bulgarian Speech and Debate Tournaments’ (in English), organized by the BEST Foundation, held in the city of Sliven. Our students competed with peers from all over Eastern Bulgaria, participating in categories such as ‘Prose’ (Maria Arsova, 11a; Lora Radoycheva, 12a), ‘Poetry’ (Mihail Mihov, 8b; Martin Dimitrov, 8a; Desislava Dobreva, 9a; Hilendara Hilendarska, 9a; Borislav Angelov, 11a), and ‘Duo Interpretation’ (Ivon Garcheva and Ivayla Yovcheva, 11a). Maria Arsova and Martin Dimitrov managed to overcome the worthy competition and qualified for the semi-finals. That gave them the opportunity to participate in the national round of the competition. We wish them success!
