Our students’ sports achievements

This year a number of students from American College Arcus Ltd were successful in the field of sports. Ashot Pogossyan from 8 b (57 kg weight class) won the silver medal at the International Wrestling Tournament Lyutfi Mehmedov in Razgrad. Ashot represented Etar-Victoria 2011 Sports Club and wrestled against four other young wrestlers from Isperih, Dobrich, Turkey and Stara Zagora.

Alexander Iliev, 8 c, represented “Etar-2000” in the fourth International Swimming Tournament “Breeze” in Burgas. He won three medals for junior males born in 2004 – 2 silver medals in the 50 and 100 metres butterfly, a bronze medal in the 100 metres individual medley and came fifth in the 100 metres freestyle.
