Participation in the National Conference of the “Minu Balkanski” foundation 14 - 15.06.2014

Upon invitation of Professor Minko Balkanski, of the “Minu Balkanski” foundation, the director of The American College Arcus, Peter Ivanov, and a group of teachers – Jena Staykova, Silvana Tabakova and Agripina Georgieva – took part in the National Conference Morals, Etics and Civic Education – “Connection between scientific disciplines and their basis on morality, traditions and educational reforms”. Many guests attended the event: school directors from the whole country, university, university professors, the French embassador – Xavier Lapevre de Cabanes, representatives of Young Bulgaria foundation, teachers, students and parents. American College Arcus  participated with a report and a presentation on the topic “The role of  MEGO and interdisciplinary relation in the development of students civic responsibility”. The National Conference was ended with wishes of future meetings, which would turn into a tradition. Many decisions were taken and were formed into a memorandum that will be presented the Minister of Education.

In order to build the present the way we want the future to be, we must count on the young people.
