Diamond vs Graphite!
On 7th October 2022 in the science class Man and Nature the students of the 5thA grade, with the assistance of their teacher Mrs Semiha Mehmedova, made models of atoms and molecules. They did an excellent job on the crystal lattices of snowflakes, salt, diamond and graphite. The students already know what makes sugar taste sweet. This practical task helped them consolidate their knowledge of the building blocks of substances and of the fact that the spatial arrangement of atoms and molecules is the reason for their different properties.
