Margarita Karaivanova - a winner of the National Multilingual Competition

Margarita Karaivanova from grade 11 A is a winner of the National Multilingual competition which took place on 16 November 2019 in Lovech. The four-time holder of the Aneta Karaivanova Scholarship was the only representative from Veliko Tarnovo region to have qualified for the National round of the Multilingual Competition with German as a second foreign language. The first part of the competition included listening to English prose text which was then summarized into German. The second part consisted of reading a media text in English and writing an essay in German. The linguistic competence of the students from grade 11 was assessed and rated in 5 categories according to the second foreign language. The number of the students who qualified for the national round was 142; among them Margarita won the first place in her category with 86 points out of 90.
