Stefan Mitev from grade 10B – the vice-champion of Bulgaria in Judo for 2022
Our college student Stefan Mitev from grade 10B has become the vice-champion in the Individual Judo Championship for Cadets for 2022, which was held in the town of Sliven on 12th and 13th March. Stefan is an athlete training at the Judo and Sambo Sports club Chavdar in the town of Troyan. He was also the vice-champion in the Balkan Judo Championship for 2019 in Skopje, Macedonia. Some more of his titles are: Judo Champion of Bulgaria for 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019; Sambo Champion of Bulgaria for 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021; he was a nominee for the programme The Successful Children of Bulgaria in 2017 of Dimitar Berbatov Foundation. He has won more than 60 medals in National and International Championships in Judo and Sambo. What lies ahead for him is participation in the National Individual Sambo Championship, which will be held in the town of Panagyurishte on 26th and 27th March.
