The wonderful world of cells
In this week the fifth-graders at American College Arcus got to know the wonderful world of the cells. Together with their teacher of Man and Nature they made models of plant and animal cells. They learned the construction of organisms; the similarities between the cells of the snowdrops and the elephants as well as what can be observed with a microscope. Two of the students, inspired by their lessons, made a real cake in the shape of a plant cell.
