Ralitsa Stoycheva from grade 9 C – with national recognition in the field of natural sciences

From 15 to 17 November 2019 Ralitsa Stoycheva from grade 9 C (with a major Natural Sciences) at American College Arcus Ltd. took part in the 12th National Competition for Key Competences in Sciences with the topic Climate Change which took place in the town of Koprivtshitsa. The organizers of the event were the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Regional Department of Education in Sofia and High School Lyuben Karavelov in Koprivshtitsa. The National Competition was held in two rounds – theoretical and experimental during which the students worked in teams oninteresting natural science tasks that required the application of knowledge and demonstration of skills for experimental work, formulation of hypotheses, processing and analysis of experimental results. In this Competition Ralitsa Stoycheva was honoured by the National Committee with a special award for Best Presentation of an Experimental task.
