"Tender is the night" - an event for Valentine's Day with a special guest - Aleksandur Sano
"No amount of fire or freshness can challenge what a man will store up in his ghostly heart." F. S. Fitzgerald As a celebration of love, a dozen of our most active students prepared a surprise event in the college hall. Every single part of it was a joint idea between the participants and their teachers - Karina Ognyanova and Adriana Ganeva. We watched a short film, followed by a play: both inspired by the love between Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald and produced by our students. The performance of our school band reinforced their message.
And because love has many dimensions, our young organizers invited a special guest to tell us about love for the calling each of us chooses. Or more precisely, the calling that chooses us. "What you want to do because you can't help but do it," as wisely reminded by our guest. Alexander Sano impressed our audience with ease, groundedness, sincerity, and humour. Despite being a star of the big and small screen, as well as the Bulgarian theatrical stage, there was no distance felt between him and the audience. Time flew by imperceptibly, and it seemed not enough for all the questions. That's why we invited Mr. Sano to visit us again in the future."
