The Big Christmas Cooking 2016

In the last school week before the Christmas vacation the students of American College Arcus organized the traditional bazaar for home-made food.  The college students from all classes did their best and made both sweet and salty products. It was a charitable fundraising activity which collected 1000 Levs. All years were included in that event and each year had a specific day of the week assigned. It all started with grade 12 then they passed the torch to grade 11 then 10 and so on. On the last day of the school week grade 8 were pleased to present their specialties. It was much more fun for them as it was their first participation in such an initiative. Grade 8 were also very much surprised by the voluntary work done by their teachers to help and make food for the bazaar. The best of all that experience was the cooking itself. Students divided themselves into small groups supported by both their parents and teachers. The teachers who did not participate in cooking were part of the fundraising activities as customers who were tempted to buy the delicious products. The positive atmosphere and good emotions ruled during the two long breaks each day. Beaming with happiness students were carrying trays laden with pastries and cakes. In unison with the Christmas spirit haunting the school rang the bell and contributed to the festive atmosphere.
