Third National Students’ Conference

Alexandra Ivanova and Desislava Ivanova from 11a class took part in the Third National Students’ Conference “140 years since the April Uprising“, which was held in the town of Kardzhali from 22 to 24 April 2016. The organizers of the event with more than 60 participants from the whole country, were P. R. Slaveykov Secondary School and the Municipality of Kardzhali. The students from the American College Arcus introduced a presentation on the topic “The feat of Priest Hariton and Bacho Kiro’s cheta” with the history teacher Pavlin Atanasov as their adviser. It is the second national students’ conference in Kardzahali with the participation of representatives of the college. During their free time the students from the American College Arcus visited the ancient Thracian city of Perperikon, located 15 km northeast of Kardzali.
