Two unforgettable trips to new worlds

The big family of Arcus was taken on a trip to two incredible realities - one virtual, recreating and renovating the historical heritage, the other one - a product of imagination, realised with the help of the magic of words. The students at the College, the teachers and our guests had the opportunity to experience a memorable walk in the vicinity and the interior of the monument on the Buzludzha peak. The author of the VR project - Todor Rusanov, demonstrated his work with the help of his assistant - Hristiana, and after that he told about the details in making his initial idea into the product he created. Finally he mentioned some interesting facts about his job of a designer.

After that we attended the presentation of the first published book by Vilian Popov, a student in grade 12 B at American College Arcus Ltd. According to the author of "Narrow Boundary" his book bears characteristics of science fiction while entwining an engrossing plot and deep messages of life. It turned out that the captivating characters in the book have been modelled on real-life people present in the school auditorium. Vilian Popov shared that first the idea for the novel came as a spontaneous inspiration which grew into a fast-developing magical story about remote worlds where human experience is reflected. Playing computer games, travelling the world and his imagination comprise the amalgam used to mold the gripping eloquence of the author.
